养宠物的好处

1） Increasing scientific evidence indicates that the unique bondwe share with our pets dramatically enriches our lives and improves emotional well-being.

越来越多的科研证据表明我们和宠物之间建立的关系可以极大丰富生活，提高幸福感。

2） Another benefit associatedwith owning a pet is an improvement in mood and mental well-being. Many ailmentsare related to our attitudes and mindsets, so loneliness, depression even autismcan bealleviatedby the company ofthe pets.

养宠物另一个好处是它能改善人们的心情，有助于心理健康。很多疾病跟我们的态度和思维模式有关，养宠物可以一定程度缓解孤独、沮丧和自闭的情况。

3） Pet-keepingis beneficial for the growth of children. For them, learning to take care pets can cultivatetheir sense of responsibility and empathy. During this process, they may treat a pet kindly and patiently, thus it encourages children to care for animals and lives. Also,a good relationship with a pet can also help in developing non-verbal communication and compassion.

养宠物对孩子的成长很有益处。对于孩子来说，学着照顾宠物可以培养他们的责任感和同理心。在这过程中，他们也许会善待动物，这样鼓励了孩子去关爱动物，关爱生命。此外，与宠物之间的良好关系还有助于培养孩子非语言交流能力和同情心。

保护动物的重要性

1）To promote biodiversity. Various living creatures are interdependent in the ecosystem, if species keep becoming extinct,the food chain will be disrupted and the delicatebalance of this system will be disturbed, the domino effectwill then lead to disastrousresults. Humans rely heavily on plants and animals,if we keep damaging them, it is us who will disappear in the end.

保护生物多样性。各种各样的生物在生态系统中相互依存，如果物种持续灭绝，食物链会被破坏，微妙的生态平衡也会被打破，连锁效应会带来灾难性的后果。人类十分依赖动植物，如果一直破坏他们，最后毁灭的是自己。

2）I can’t imagine the world that only has people, roads or buildings, which is horrible and soulless. And in the future, I wish our next generation could grab a chanceto see these living creatures, not just hearing them from older generation.

不能想象只有人、道路或者建筑的世界，那会很可怕很无趣。未来，希望我们的下一代可以有机会看见这些美丽生灵，而不只是听老一辈的人说起。

五月花雅思测试：
