This dataset contains 440 audio samples, which are meows collected from 21 cats of two breeds (Maine Coon and European Shorthair) under three distinct scenarios: brushing, isolation in an unfamiliar environment, and waiting for food. Each audio file follows a specific naming convention that includes the cat's unique ID, breed, gender, the owner's unique ID, recording session number, and vocalization count. Additionally, a supplementary zip file is provided, containing excluded recordings (non-meow sounds) and unedited continuous vocal sequences.
