英文： The black-faced bird on display, with a large lute-shaped beak, is one of the world's most endangered species -- the black-faced spoonbill, also known as the "rice spoon bird" or "sea kayak," whose face is black from its bare lack of feathers. It is often confused with the white spoonbill. If you want to distinguish them, mainly look at their mouths, the color of the mouth is only black to the eye is white spoonbill, and black to the behind of the eyes is the black-faced spoonbill. Black-faced spoonbills build their nests on cliffs, and the larger of the pair, with the longer bill is the male, and the size of the markings on the bill also indicate their age. More than 70 years ago, it was a common species, and now there are only about 700 black-faced spoonbills left in the world. The only breeding ground for black-faced spoonbills in China is located in the Zhuanghe of Dalian. The pipa-shaped beak makes it difficult to forage, could it be one of the causes of the endangered species?
There are 6 members in the spoonbill family, and only the black-faced spoonbill is an endangered species. It can be seen that the pipa-shaped beak is not necessarily related to the endangered species, and the change of ecological environment is the direct reason for the rise and fall of numbers of black-faced spoonbill.
中文：这里展示的面色黝黑、有着一张琵琶型大嘴的珍禽，是一个世界级的濒危物种——黑脸琵鹭，又叫“饭匙鸟”“海划子”，它的脸因为裸露没有羽毛而呈黑色。人们经常将它和白琵鹭相混淆。想要分清，主要看它们的嘴部，嘴的颜色只黑到眼前的是白琵鹭，而黑到眼后的才叫黑脸琵鹭。黑脸琵鹭在悬崖上筑巢，一对中个体较大嘴较长的是公鸟，另外，嘴上斑纹的大小也能看出他们的年龄。70多年前，它是一个常见的物种，而现在全球的黑脸琵鹭也仅存700余只，大连庄河地区的形人砣是中国目前唯一的黑脸琵鹭繁殖地。琵琶形的嘴，觅食困难，会是濒危的原因之一么？琵鹭家族有6名成员，只有黑脸琵鹭是濒危物种，可见琵琶形的嘴与濒危没有必然联系，生态环境的变化才是黑脸琵鹭消长的直接原因。
