UTILIZATION: Gundog.

用途：枪猎犬

Group 8 Retrievers, Flushing Dogs, Water Dogs.

GENERAL APPEARANCE:

Symmetrical, balanced, active, powerful, level mover; sound with kindly expression.

整体外貌：

BEHAVIOUR / TEMPERAMENT:

Biddable, intelligent and possessing natural working ability; kindly, friendly and confident.

HEAD: Balanced and well chiselled.

头部：头部线条流畅，轮廓分明。

CRANIAL REGION

Skull: Broad without coarseness; well set on neck.

头骨：宽，线条流畅，与颈部连接顺畅。

Stop: Well defined.

FACIAL REGION

Nose: Preferably black.

Muzzle: Powerful, wide and deep. Length of foreface approximately equals length from stop to occiput.

Jaws/Teeth: Jaws strong, with a perfect, regular and complete scissor bite, i.e. upper teeth closely overlapping lower teeth and set square to the jaws.

Eyes: Dark brown, set well apart, dark rims.

General appearance: Hindlegs strong and muscular.

Stifle (Knee): Well bent.

Lower thigh: Good.

Hock : Well let down, straight when viewed from rear, neither turning in nor out. Cow-hocks highly undesirable.

跖部：从后面观察自然向下、笔直，既不内翻也不外翻。牛肢高度不理想。

Hind feet: Round and cat-like.

后足：圆，如猫足。

GAIT/MOVEMENT:

Powerful with good drive. Straight and true in front and rear. Stride long and free with no sign of hackney action in front.

步态/动态：

强壮有力，驱动力强。由前后观察，行走中前后脚成一条直线，步幅大且自如，从前面观察没有马步迹象。

Hair:

Flat or wavy with good feathering, dense water-resisting undercoat.

毛质：

Colour:

Any shade of gold or cream, neither red nor mahogany. A few white hairs on chest only, permissible.

毛色:

任何色度的金色或奶油色，既不能为红色，也不能为红褐色。只有胸部允许有少许的白色毛发。

Height at withers:

Dogs 56 - 61 cm (22-24 ins);

Bitches 51 - 56 cm (20-22 ins).

FAULTS:

Any departure from the foregoing points should be considered a fault and the seriousness with which the fault should be regarded should be in exact proportion to its degree and its effect upon the health and welfare of the dog and on its ability to perform its traditional work.

缺陷：任何与上述各点的背离均视为缺陷，缺陷的严重程度与缺陷的程度大小及此缺陷对犬只的健康、福利和执行传统工作的能力造成的影响成正比。

DISQUALIFYING FAULTS:

Aggressive or overly shy.

Any dog clearly showing physical or behavioural abnormalities shall be disqualified.

失格缺陷：

有攻击性或过度羞怯。

任何身体或行为上明显失常的犬应视为失格。

N.B.：

• Male animals should have two apparently normal testicles fullydescended into the scrotum.

• Only functionally and clinically healthy dogs, with breed typicalconformation, should be used for breeding.
