在外旅行最怕突然生病，不仅耽误行程，影响心情，更担心不能及时获得治疗。因此，建议搭乘飞机前一晚尽量保证充足的睡眠；避免过度进食和饮用含气或含咖啡因和酒精的食物与饮品。如需携带药品，应与药物的外包装一起放置于随身行李中，并写下相关注意事项。
那么，万一在飞行途中有人突发生病且情况严重，飞行员应该怎么办呢？
常规程序
相信大家都知道可以广播询问机上是否有医护人员，CC们一般都接受了基本的医疗训练以备协助有需要的乘客，并熟悉使用机上的医疗用品；飞机上亦有少量额外氧气供应，为呼吸困难的乘客提供不时之需。若乘客需要立刻接受专业治疗，航班将选择合适的机场尽快降落。
如一旦出现飞行人员失能，机组必须按照相关程序规定的顺序接替指挥权，接管飞机操纵；组织分工驾驶舱的工作；并查明原因以确保机组配合与驾驶舱内的通讯正常；必要时可求助其他空勤人员和机上旅客。
还有，必须及时报告ATC以获协助；请求地面紧急医疗救助，以便抢救。

案例1
2018年1月，德国汉莎航空一架A310-112飞往法兰克福的航班上一名乘客突然心脏病发作，最后飞机紧急备降至法国尼斯机场。
通话内容解析：
1、首先通报机上有医疗紧急状况，改航至LFMN。请求进一步下降，之后具体描述病人状况和位置。Marseille,bonjour, Lufthansa 1317 approaching FL310. We are on a medical emergency divertingto LFMN. Request further descent. Can you pass a message to Nice Airport for us? He's about 35 years old, male. He says to have heart problems. He's now lying on galleyin the rear part of the cabin now. 最后明确需求， 最好有辆救护车，让医护人员从后面进入飞机。The best would be to have an ambulance so the medical staff couldapproachthe aircraft from behind. 用access也可以。
2、与Nice Approach 建立联系后马上报告：We‘re a medical emergency.并确认停机位Can you tell us which position may weexpectafter landing? 最后Nice Ground 通知机组Medical servicesare right at the stand waiting for you.

案例2
2018年1月24日，挪威航空（呼号Nor Shuttle）一架B787飞机在大西洋上空飞行时，机长突然发病。飞机紧急改航至Shannon机场。
通话内容解析：
1、Can you confirm the age and sexof the patient please? Can you just confirm if the patient has had seizuresand if he is consciousat the moment? 管制员询问病人年龄和性别，以及病人有没有抽搐过，现在是否神志清醒？机组一一回复并告知时间。
2、Can you just confirm if it was a pilot who the patient is and if you have two active pilotsin the cockpit at the moment? 能否证实病人是否为飞行员，驾驶舱是否仍有两位飞行员在工作？这很重要，涉及到驾驶舱的安全管理，任何时候驾驶舱都不能少于两人。
3、确认ILS approach 后机组询问是停靠在廊桥还是远机位？Can we expect ajetbridgeorremote stand? 管制移交后机组重申报告PANPAN的原因是有一名机组人员失能。
The reason for the Pan is that a crew member is incapacitated（失能）.之后管制询问机上人数和余油。Could you just confirm the soulsonboard and the fuel enduranceor the fuel on landing? 我们学过这个用法，还记得么？
4、最后确认落地后病人的移交。We just prefer whatever is the fastest way of offloadingthe crew member. 管制员告知地面紧急医疗救助也准备就绪。Taxi A, make a right turn in for stand 39. And medical services are in attendance, ambulancesare on the stand and they are awareit’ll be door 1 left for the patient.
