宠物的鉴赏和饲养是为了提高学生的知识面和培育广泛的兴趣而设置的本科生选修课，课程内容包括：各类宠物（包括犬、猫、鸟、鱼和爬行类等）品种介绍、生物学特点、繁殖技术、营养与饲料、饲养管理、调教和特殊技能训练及保健等内容，同时对宠物饲养的相关法律、福利也做了简要的介绍。让学生深入了解和掌握宠物的繁育、饲养及疾病防治的基本原理和技术。 Pet Appreciation and Raising is an elective courses for undergraduates students to improve students' knowledge and foster widespread interest. The course mainly includes the introduction of kinds for pets (including dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles and so on), biology characteristics, propagation techniques, nutrition and diet, feeding management, teaching, special skills training and health care etc.. Moreover, the lecture also will introduce the relevant laws and benefits of pet. Therefore, the students will master the principle and skill of pet breeding, raising and disease prevention.
