澳大利亚环颈鹦鹉是一种原产于澳大利亚的鹦鹉。除了极端热带和高原地区，该物种已适应所有条件。Barnardius属的处理方法之前已确认两个物种，林肯港鹦鹉和mallee，但由于这些物种在接触区很容易杂交，它们通常被视为具有亚种描述的单一物种B.zonarius。目前已识别出四个亚种，每个亚种都有不同的分布范围。
维基百科原文：The Australian ringneck is a parrot native to Australia. Except for extreme tropical and highland areas, the species has adapted to all conditions. Treatments of genus Barnardius have previously recognised two species, the Port Lincoln parrot and the mallee ringneck, but due to these readily interbreeding at the contact zone they are usually regarded as a single species B. zonarius with subspecific descriptions. Currently, four subspecies are recognised, each with a distinct range.
